Heello, everyone! Welcome to a new devlog!

Wow, I guess it’s been a while since I last posted here, huh.

Well, here’s what’s happening this month and what happened in the past months as well. And if you're wondering, the image above is a small sneak peek of one of the backgrounds in CH04 of Love the Guard, Be the King. I'll only say that this story will take you to some dark and dangerous places for the Blooming. The closer we get to the end, the bigger the stakes and the proportions of your choices are.

BTW! I’m planning some changes to the tiers on ko-fi; I’m thinking of ways to make it more rewarding and accessible to everyone. Also, some of my posts there are accessible to all, so if you ever miss me, feel free to check my ko-fi too, to see what I’m working on! ^^

• A new art stream! Twitch felt extremely uncomfortable, and it really tested my anxiety. To avoid using all of my energy in something that should be relaxed and fun, I went back to streaming on Discord. I’ve recorded the stream, and I’ll edit and post it somewhere pretty soon. Do you have a favorite place to watch art process videos? Tell me in the comments, and I’ll make sure to post the video there too. ^^

"The Order of Things" is possibly one of my favorite short stories I’ve written so far. Here’s something I wrote about it in my post: 

• “The day MC arrived at the Castle was also the day that MC's brother realized that their relationship would never be the same.
• I love the dynamic between MC and MC's brother, but I'm only giving you a tiny glimpse of it this time. THIS short story is all about Mathias (who's now seven), Murdoch (who would be ten), Mandra (five), and the strange six-year-old kid that changed their lives forever.
• You.”

“Trek to Dead Water” is my soon-to-be-released, action-comedy-romance, short VN-IF blend, and it will take you to new adventures in a world you already know: Five Kingdoms. With two characters you'll meet very soon: Tod and Yulie.

In LtGBtK, you met the royal family, the complex relations in the Opalean court, and the dangers of being born into a powerful (or not so powerful?) family. In TDW, you’ll meet a Safiran conman entrepreneur and a Topazian mercenary knight-to-be who will show you some of the most dangerous and beautiful landscapes in southern Safira. Get to know your companions and their rich fantasy world, learn about their history, tell them your own, and help them reconcile—or break their complicated friendship once and for all. 

For the road is the best place for all that…and for finding love too, with only one or maybe both of them. ;)

And that’s it for this devlog. Thank you all so much for your support and for playing my game. I really want to make this my career, so I’ll be working hard to bring you stories that let you feel at home. I think I mentioned this somewhere, but my main objective with my stories is to lessen the effects of this cold umbra that capitalism created. I want you all to remember you’re all valuable people and you deserve so, so much more. I’m sorry we live in a society that fails to care for and appreciate our own, but I hope you can find at least a little moment of peace and a space to feel and experience things safely in my stories.

I know it’s difficult to see it sometimes, but I hope you all remember that you are loved, you are precious, and the world is better for having you in it.
