(November.Devlog) Lots of good stuff for you!
Hey, everyone! Welcome to another (late) devlog! Haha
October was definitely an interesting month. I had a lot of fun writing this month’s short story for Ko-fi (you can read an excerpt here!) and planning some new things for December.
The development for LtGBtK continued as usual, if only a little slower. I had to accept some extra freelance work to cover some surprise expenses xD but I did a good job balancing everything. Kinda proud of that, I am! :))
About LtGBtK’s ending:
I think I mentioned before that I’d do anything possible to finish the game still in the summer.
Well, I couldn’t. xD I’m actually quite good at making estimations for my books, but turns out I’m still not so good at making estimations for my games and its several branches, hahaha! XD I thought the game would be completed at around 160k words, but the 160k came and went, and I’m still some way away from THE SCENE I want to write the most in this game—the epilogue.
That means that my main objective for the next two months (November and December) is to finish this game.
What’s coming next:
- On November 30th, I’ll release the next supporters’ build on Ko-fi.
- “Trek to Dead Water” (demo) will finally be released on December 13th on itch.
- On December 29th, I’ll release an End-of-Cycle gift to everyone on itch and ko-fi.
- On January 30th (my birthday 🙈), I’ll release the next public build on itch.io.
I think I’m making good progress both in the game and in shaping my writing/game dev career, so I’m actually pretty motivated right now hehe.
And that’s all for this devlog. My biggest struggle this month was to deal with the sadness over the US elections, tbh. I’m not North American, but I’ve seen firsthand how the American elections swayed Brazilian/worldwide politics, and that worries me. Still, I think it’s important to keep centered and calm in moments like this. Take time to rest and recharge if you need to. Make sure you’re well, and then remember that you’re not alone.
We’ll all fight together to make the world a more inclusive and welcoming place for all of us! :) And if things get really difficult and you need a place to rest for a moment, I hope you can find that in my stories—and I hope they’ll remind you that you are strong, loved, and worthy of a dignified life, no matter what anyone says.
As always, a massive thank you for believing in me and for allowing me to tell you these stories. A special thank you to all my supporters on ko-fi:
acky, AJendryke IF, Aliann232, Ash, Cath, Dry Cappuccino Games, Ida, Jackson Winkler, K, Katie, kingdom-dance, Kit, LH, luci, Megan, Mersailia, Monika, Raiana Towne, rottingskin, Samantha, Sammy, SlyFire, svf, Tristan, and all my anonymous supporters.
A big hug to all of you,
Ligia

Ahh im so excited to see "the scene!". I started playing recently and immediately fell in love. quick question though, do you ever plan on maker tutorials to get certain endings or events? for example a guide to an NSFW event, or a guide to get Mathias to turn out a specific way.
even if you don't, im still so excited to see how the game turns out! (And hopefully get to marry Mathias because he is my husband, he just doesn't know it yet)
