Hey, lovesomes,

Welcome to our now-monthly devlog! I hope you're all safe and healthy wherever you are. There's a lot happening around here, but if there's one thing that didn't change, it's how lucky I feel every time one of you gives me feedback. I'm really glad you're enjoying this game so much, and I hope I can continue to create worlds and stories that bring joy to you all, even if just for a little while.

As for this month's progress:

• Decisions about the Extra Story;

Based on your feedback, I made two big decisions for the Extra Story. First, I'll incorporate it into the main game chapter flow. It'll now automatically start after the player finishes Chapter 2, although you'll still be able to restart the story in the game menu. I thought this might make the story flow better while also avoiding the break of immersion during the first gameplay. Thank you for the suggestion, @hurricaneginger ♥ 

Second, I rewrote the romantic rendezvous between MC and Mandra. At this point in the story, The Destroyer archetype already has a certain dominance inherent to them. To make sure the scene wouldn't feel jarring to those playing as a Destroyer, I changed it a bit to represent that. Thank you for pointing that out, @Erized. ♥

• Bugs found;

While combing through my code, I realized I made two small mistakes with my variables in Chapter 2. If you're playing The Ruler || Friendship route, OR The Destroyer || Servitude route, you might not have unlocked a little scene at the end of chapter 2. This little bug might also impact the beginning of Chapter 3, so I'm now thinking about ways to work around that.

• Chapter 3 progress;

My outline is basically ready, and I have a clear idea of how I want to tackle things for this chapter. I have ~3k words written already, and I estimate I'll need at least around 15k more to reach the point I want with this chapter.

• Art created;

This one was so much fun to work on. Mathias now has different sprites for his "final" look in the game. As he starts to get ready for the blooming ceremony, he'll try on his ceremonial garb, a slightly different hairstyle, and, depending on your relationship, he might even have a different body language while talking to you. 8) Let's see if the code works heh.
